Luciano: “Then you’re going to have to make her or appeal to more level heads like her husband or father. I did warn you that we should have gone to the authorities about this….”
Thania glares at him because he was right but damn, she hated “I told you so’s”
Thania turns and looks out the window again.
Her granddaughter, Evangeline, the one who was the most like her. The one she most identified with which meant she knew exactly what she was capable of doing. She’d already tried to kill her once and she had no doubt that given a second chance, she would not fail again.
